The Australian Centre for Photography has relaunched the region's oldest art magazine seriously dedicated to photography, Photofile. Last seen in late 2010, Photofile will mark its thirtieth year in 2013 with new print and digital versions in March and September. Begun as a small community newspaper in 1983 and most recently seen as a large-format magazine, Photofile has grown to reflect the shifting forms and contexts of photography. Exquisitely designed and employing all that is excellent in writing, editing and production, the new Photofile will imaginatively ponder photography's past, present and future in ways that will surprise, stimulate and illuminate.
